Pensive Women Portraits

This series of small portraits captures quiet moments of presence. Each pensive woman, hand to face, invites a pause—a space for stillness and reflection. Their expressions are subtle, but each holds a distinct mood. I began painting them to explore the quiet strength of introspection. Their small size makes them feel intimate, I painted them as a way to honor stillness. In their smallness, they feel like keepsakes of presence—portraits not of action, but of simply being.
