In this trio of paintings I want to capture women in contemplative solitude beside the water. Dressed in soft, patterned garments, each figure is immersed in a private moment of stillness—seated at the edge of land and water, where inner calm meets the vast unknown. With subtle variations in posture, light, and color, the series speaks to presence, reflection, and the quiet strength found in simply being.
